We start the
process by working with the customer to build a brief defining the requirements of the web site. What is the
purpose of the site? Is it simply a static device to promote the business or is there to be dynamic content
and/or service provision such as an online catalogue or real-time information feeds? How will it integrate
with other areas of the marketing strategy? How will content maintenance be performed and who will perform it?
Having defined this role we can move on to the content itself, or a suitable definition where content is
dynamic. |
|
|
|
We then design a
structure that will fulfil these requirements without compromising on areas such as ease of navigation and
integrity (see our consultancy page for more about these
important issues). This proposal is then discuss with the customer and the development plan is amended if
necessary. |
|
|
|
We then begin the
development phase and produce a working initial version of the site. The site is then tested with various
integrity issues in mind and checked for cross browser compatibility with the most common browser versions. |
